In order to help with the running costs of this site a nominal charge of £5.00 is charged for each "batch" of items Dear Mike Jeckells have confirmed that the sail is a No 2 jib with sail area of 158 sq ft. Measurements are Luff 32.67' Foot 11.02' Leech 28.86' There is no maker's name on the sail. General condition is very good and would be excellent but for a few minor rust stains. Whiteness is excellent. It would seem that the sail has had little use. It is at least 11 years old because it came with Betsinda when I obtained her in 1999 and wasn't needed by the new owner when I sold Betsinda in 2004 because I had her fitted with a Hood furling genoa. Jeckells would charge £609 for a new sail. I would like £200 for the sail but I would consider any serious offer from a Vertue owner.
